Shirley Arlene Gibler Lawrence
Shirley Arlene Gibler, 77, of Lawrence, KS passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 29 at the Clinton Cemetery.
Shirley Gibler was born in Lawrence and was a lifelong resident. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Gibler, Sr. in 2008, and son Jody Gibler in 2012. She is survived by two sons Robert M. Gibler, JR & Jeffrey W. Gibler both of Lawrence, KS and a step-daughter, Sharon A. Eaden of Topeka, KS. Shirley had 3 grandchildren Benjamin M. Gibler, Kameron J. Gibler and Kiefer T. Gibler, and 2 great-grandchildren Kansas C. Gibler and Abby R. Gibler
Shirley was a Horticulturist and often sold plants to the local businesses. She loved music and was a musician. Shirley also worked for a time at Deerfield School in Lawrence, KS as a cafeteria Lunch lady.
