Dorothy E. Shaner 1911 - 2012 Lecompton
Dorothy E. Shaner of Lecompton, Kansas passed away December 9, 2012 under the care of AsceraCare Hospice and Hickory Pointe Care and Rehab. She was born November 11, 1911 in Kansas City, Missouri and spent the next 100 years making her imprint. She was and is loved by many. Ask anyone in Lecompton about Dorothy and they will give you a story.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, M. Beth LaCava, NJ, son Robert L. Shaner, Topeka, KS, seven grandchildren, Kevin, David and Robert Johnson all of NJ, Christopher Shaner, SC, Andrea Parrish, MO, and Dorothy and Robert Shaner, KS and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert L.
Shaner.
