Charles “Charlie Brown” Hale 1964 - 2012 Wellsville
Charles “Charlie Brown” Hale age 48 of Wellsville, Kansas and previously of Lawrence, Kansas passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2nd, 2012. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6th, at the Mt. Sidney Cemetery in Linwood, Kansas. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions can be made to “Bikers for Babies - March of Dimes” in care of the funeral home.
Charlie was born on Oct. 7, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas the third of four children born to “D.L.” and “Bertie” Hale. He was raised in Linwood and also attended school there. Charlie was an “over the road truck driver” and most recently was working at ACME Brick Co. in Olathe, KS as a delivery driver. He loved riding his Harleys and spending time with his family and “grandbabies”. Charlie was preceded in death by his father Donald Hale. Survivors include his wife Abbe Hale of the home, three children Stephanie Daniels, Chad Hale and wife Dawn, Jacob Hale, two step children Branden Flowers and wife Brittany and Kaitlynn Flowers, his mother Roberta Hale, three siblings Natalie Mulryan and husband Bob, Kathy Wilson and husband Dennis, Jeff Hale and wife Selinna. Ten Grandchildren Shelby, Aleigha, Logan, Rylan, Hunter, Tucker, Wyatt, Heather, Hailey and Izzy. As well as many extended family and friends.
