Roger Clarence Bruhns 1932 - 2012 Lawrence
A Committal Service at graveside for Roger Clarence Bruhns, 79, Lawrence, will be at 10 am Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Roger died on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Brandon Woods at Alvamar. He was a longtime resident of Lawrence, Kansas, and a Hallmark retiree. Roger was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Waverly, Kansas, and attended school in Waverly. After high school, he went into the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran.
Survivors living in Lawrence include his second wife, Patricia Sierra Macrellis Bruhns, daughters Debbie Bruhns and Linda Bruhns Torkelson and husband Mark, and sons Rodney Bruhns and wife Sandy, and Gary Bruhns and wife Shannon. He has three granddaughters, Brittany, Madison, and Delanie Bruhns, and one grandson, Lance Bruhns.
Living out of town are his step daughter, Georgia Macrellis Lansing and husbank Jeff, and step son, Major James G. Macrellis Jr. and wife Renee, and two grandsons, Peter Macrellis and Anthony Lansing.
