Opal F. Facklam 1930 - 2012 Winchester
Services for Opal F. Facklam, 82, Winchester, formerly of Lawrence, 10 am Monday at Rumsey- Yost Funeral Home. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Facklam died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, in Winchester.
Born July 12, 1930, in Woodston, Kan., the daughter of Clarence J. and Nellie Maie Bolon Worden.
She worked as a crossing guard for 12 years. She previously had worked at Lawrence Laundry and Cherry Manor. She enjoyed needleworking and volunteering at the Salvation Army.
Married Warren N. Facklam on Oct. 2, 1956, in Lawrence. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Raymond House & wife Wanda, Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren Amy Schoen (Michael), Beverly Taylor (Donald), & Raymond House Jr. (Amber); great grandchildren Michaela Schoen & Brandon Taylor; step grandchildren Kevin & Kelsey Parks; & step great grandson Joshua Parks.
Friends may call from 8-8 Sunday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 9-10 am Monday.
