Sue E. Flynn 1943 - 2012 Tonganoxie
Sue E. Flynn, 69, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Saturday August 4, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday August 8, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church, Tonganoxie. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven, Kansas City, KS. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Church.
Sue was born April 7,1943 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Orville and Queen (Hines) Proctor. She earned a Bachelor Degree and Masters Degree from the University of Kansas at Pittsburg. She was a member of the Leavenworth County Master Gardeners, and the Perry Yacht Club. She worked as a first grade teacher for 37 years for the USD #500 KC, KS, and USD #464, Tonganoxie. Sue was united in marriage June 3, 1967 in Kansas City, KS to Thomas Flynn who survives of the home.
Other survivors include; one son, Thomas J. Flynn Jr., Wichita, KS; two daughters, Laurie (David) Conway, Lawrence, KS, Brigid Flynn (Scott Burcham) New York, NY; one brother, George Proctor, Oklahoma City, OK; and 8 grandchildren.
