Martha L. Eder 1935 - 2012 Topeka
Martha L. Eder, 76, Topeka, passed away April 21, 2012.
Martha was born May 29, 1935 in Eudora, KS the daughter of George and Viola (Kennedy) Born.
She graduated from Eudora High School. Martha married George A. Eder on May 25, 1957 in Eudora, KS. She worked at Highland Park Bank and Trust for many years. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and was very active with the church.
Survivors include daughter, Susie (Kent) Dederick, Tecumseh, and their children, Brae (Keith) Richards, great-granddaughter, Charlotte, Topeka, and Shelby (Brian) Simpson, Tulsa, OK; son, Tom (Cindy) Eder, Topeka, and their children, Matt and Mike Eder, both of Manhattan; a twin sister, Mary Hanson, Lawrence; son-in-law, Bob Madison, Bonney Lake, WA, and triplet grandchildren, Morgan, Sam and Taylor Madison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George and a daughter, Sally Madison.
A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka, KS 66614; where family will greet friends until 8 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2700 SE Virginia Ave., Topeka, KS.
