Norma Joan Heaberlin 1933 - 2012 Eudora
Memorial services for Norma Joan Heaberlin, 78, Eudora, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel in Eudora, KS. Private family inurnment will be in the Eudora Cemetery, Eudora. She died on Friday, April 13, 2012 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1933 in Grinnell, IA, the daughter of Chester and Marjorie (Turpin) Kline. She was a teller at Capitol Federal Savings Bank for seven year before she retired in 1995. She was a member of the Eudora United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Eudora Quilting Bees. She had a passion for quilting and participating in quilt shows. She also enjoyed painting, needle crafts and sewing. She was married to Bill Heaberlin on September 4, 1953 in New Sharon, IA. He survives of the home. Other survivors include one daughter, Jan E. and husband, Charles Griffee, Jamesport, MO; one son, Eric E. Heaberlin, Eudora; one sister, Virginia Douglass, Montezuma, IA The family suggests memorials in her name to the Eudora United Methodist Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
