Heather Estella Humphrey San Francisco
Heather Estella Humphrey passed away April 2012 in her home in San Francisco. A memorial service for Heather will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 21, at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 2800 N Church Road, Liberty, MO.
Heather was born in Fremont, California, March 5, 1970. She grew up in Yankton, SD graduating from Yankton, High School. She enjoyed experiencing life and has lived on both the East and West coast. Heather completed her education obtaining a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. She lived in Topeka, Chicago, and Minneapolis while pursuing a career with Target. She recently returned to her favorite city, San Francisco, accepting a position with Book Renters in San Mateo. Heather enjoyed travelling and most of all reading. She volunteered many hours at elementary schools helping others learn to read.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Carol and Gary Forister in Kansas City, MO; father and stepmother, David and Juli Humphrey, Polson, MT; brother, Brett Humphrey, Seattle, WA; stepsisters Theresa Nickles, Lees Summit, MO; Sarah Midiros, Shawnee, KS; Angie Shiroff, Henderson, NV; her aunt, Marsha Bataglear, Wichita, KS; uncle Charles Humphrey, Edmonton, Alberta and many friends throughout the United States.
