Jeremy Barlow
Jeremy D. Barlow, 30, of Olathe, KS, passed away while hiking in Arizona on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Tuesday, Sept 20th at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Olathe Chapel. The Rosary will be said at 5:30 Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Jeremy Barlow memorial music scholarship fund, c/o Northwest Foundation Inc., 800 University Drive, Maryville, MO 64468.
Jeremy was born March 18, 1981, in Dubuque, IA, to Jeff and Susan Barlow. He is survived by his wife, Alicia L. Barlow; his parents; his sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Eric Gockel; and his grandparents Pal and Marilyn Adkins and Gerald and Bonnie Barlow.
Jeremy grew up in Maryville, MO, and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He loved playing piano, reading, and traveling with his wife. To leave a special message for the family please visit www.PenwellGabelOlathe.com.
