Christopher Glen Parish Lawrence
Inurnment service for Christopher Glen “Chris” Parish, 25, Lawrence will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Parish died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 15, 1985, at Fort Leavenworth, the son of Bobby G. Parish Jr. and Karen M. Linsey Pitts.
Mr. Parish graduated Lawrence High School in 2004. He was a certified welder and certified in safety from Husqvarna Chainsaw Co. He worked as a foreman for Lawrence Tree service. He was an outdoorsman, avid camper and fisherman. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include his father, Bobby Glen Parish Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; his mother and stepfather, Karen Marie and Michael Pitts, of Lawrence; a brother, Thomas Parish, of Lawrence; his fiancee, Lotoya Todd of Lawrence; an aunt, Becky Parish of Lawrence; cousins Nichole, Hailey and Drake; grandparents, Bobby Sr. and Mary A. Parish, of Lawrence; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from North Carolina.
