Ronald Lee Broers 1948 - 2011 Lawrence

Funeral services for Ronald Lee Broers, 63, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lawrence Chapel Oaks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, Baldwin City.
Mr. Broers died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at his home.
He was born March 5, 1948, in Lawrence, the son of Vernon and Frances Kring Broers.
Mr. Broers was a lifelong resident of Lawrence. He was a custodian for the Buckingham Palace Janitorial Service. Mr. Broers was also an Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam era.
He married Michiko Broers in 1972. She preceded him in death in 2008.
He was also preceded in death by his mother and two grandchildren, Hayley Broers and Christian Evans.
He married Tungaa Broers in March 2011. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Scott and wife Stacey, Ozawkie; a daughter, Deana Broers and husband Kenny Evans; his father; and three grandchildren, Alex and Conner Broers, and Samantha Evans.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home, 3821 W. Sixth St., Lawrence, KS 66049 .
