Timothy 'Tim' J. Sylvester 1961 - 2011 Lawrence
Timothy "Tim" J. Sylvester
Graveside services for Timothy “Tim” J. Sylvester, 50, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery.
He died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at his home.
He was born Sept. 3, 1961, in Lawrence, the son of Allen Edward and Anna Jo Shirk Sylvester.
He was self-employed in flooring.
Survivors include his mother, of the home; a daughter, Tia M. Garrison, Lawrence; a brother; Jerry A. Sylvester, Lawrence; two nephews, Kyle C. Sylvester and Christopher J. Sylvester; and a granddaughter, Trinitie L. Garrison.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen, in 1986.
The family will greet friends from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or to Grace Hospice, sent in care of the mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
