Edward (Jack) Schultz, 85, Tonganoxie, KS died Monday, November 21, 2011 at home.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 25, at Tonganoxie Christian Church. Private inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie, KS. The family will receive friends one hour before service.
Jack was born May 25, 1926, in Tonganoxie, KS, the son of Edward W. and Thelma (Strouse) Schultz. He had worked for Glanville Furniture Co. and for Tonganoxie United School District #464. He was a member of Tonganoxie Christian Church and Teamsters Union, K.C., KS. On September 27, 1944, he was united in marriage to Shirley Verhage in Olathe, KS. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth, September 21, 2011.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; three daughters, Sharon Meyer, Shawnee, KS, Sue Mills, Lawrence, KS and Bobbi Kelly, Katy, TX; Brother, Gene, Tonganoxie; sister, Patricia Kimberlin, Montrose, CO; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
