Dary H. Housworth

Graveside inurnment for Dary H. Housworth, 63, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
He died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 10, 1948, in Lawrence, the son of Wilson Hearl and Lola LaDuke Housworth.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Housworth worked in the construction business and was also an auctioneer.
He was a lifetime member of Alford-Clarke Post No. 852 of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lawrence.
He married Carol J. Kiefer on June 20, 1995, in Victorville, Calif. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Paula Greco and Cheryl Arnold, both of Lawrence, and Dani Hulings, Meriden; a son, William Donen, Lawrence; a sister, Sarah Peters, Lawrence; three nieces, Sherri Housworth, Satin Kays and Penny DeLoach; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dary H. “Beau” Housworth II in 1987, and two brothers, Gayle Donen in 1991 and Wilson Edward in 1939.
