Louise Turner

Funeral services for Louise Turner, 77, Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
She died Monday, May 23, 2011, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka.
She was born on March 25, 1934, in Vicksburg, Miss., the daughter of Henry and Sceressa Wilson Turner.
She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Topeka.
Survivors include eight daughters, Ethel Wilbert, Hollandale, Miss., Maggie Cosey, Mary Hamilton and Gloria Bolden, all of Dallas, Sarah Neal and Lola Vassar, both of Lawrence, Christine Longmire, Fayetteville, N.C., and Cynthia Kratochvil, Topeka; 10 sons, Ted Turner, Solomon Turner and Charles Turner, all of Topeka, Nathaniel Richardson, OC Turner, Gregory Turner and Steven Turner, all of Lawrence, Gloster Turner, Greenville, Miss., Daniel Turner, Beaumont, Texas, and Christopher Turner, Lenexa; two brothers, Aaron Turner, Lawrence, and Willie Turner, Hollandale, Miss.; two sisters, Eliza Wiseman, Memphis, Tenn., and Bernice Davis, Hollandale, Miss.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
