Margie L. Himpel 1929 - 2011 Tonganoxie
Funeral services for Margie L. Himpel, 81, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tonganoxie United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Hubbel Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie.
She died Friday, May 13, 2011, at her home.
Mrs. Himpel was born Nov. 16, 1929, in Tonganoxie. She was a homemaker and a member of Tonganoxie United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Jack Himpel Jr., Mark Himpel, A.W. Rocky Himpel, all of Tonganoxie, and Jeffery Himpel, Basehor; five daughters, Georgina Bellman, Winslow, Ariz., Beverly Wiles, Susan Herrstrom, Diane Bretthouer, and Bobbi McClellan, all of Tonganoxie; a sister, Delores Rawlings, Jenison, Mich.; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Himpel Sr., on May 23, 2003.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.
