George ‘Ned’ Edward Rooney

Mass of Christian Burial for George Edward “Ned” Rooney, 77, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence, with burial at Fidelity Catholic Church Cemetery in Fairview.
Mr. Rooney died Saturday, March 5, 2011.
The family will meet friends at 9 a.m. Thursday at the church, with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. before the funeral. A luncheon will be served prior to departure for graveside services in Fairview.
