No services will be held for Donald C. Fritz, 77, Lawrence. He was cremated.
He died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at the Colmery-O’Neil Veterans Medical Center in Topeka.
He was born Dec. 30, 1933, in Topeka, the son of Marshall V. and Goldia M. Mauck Fritz. He attended Topeka schools. H
Mr. Fritz served his country as a Navy Seaman, 1951-1954 during the Korean Conflict.
He formerly worked for the Santa Fe Railway for 15 years. He worked for 25 years for the Kansas University Facilities Operations Paint Shop and retired in 1995.
He was a member of Siloam Chapter 225 Masons of Topeka.
He married Linda Burggraf-Speicher on Sept. 22, 2001. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Jennie and husband Ron Hutchinson, Bobbi Jo Fritz and Ann Speicher; one son, Ronald Fritz; two grandsons, Joe Lincoln and Alex Sharon; one great-granddaughter, Lilly Lincoln; his mother-in-law, Elnora Burggraf; three brother-in-laws, Lonnie and wife Kay Burggraf, John and wife Vickie Burggraf, and Don and wife Sheryl Burggraf.
His parents preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
