Lee Gilbreth

Fort Scott — Private family burial for Lee Junior Gilbreth, 72, former resident of Fort Scott, will be in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Scott under the direction of Cheney Witt Chapel. He was cremated.
Mr. Gilbreth died Friday, June 3, 2011, at the Medicalodges in Gardner.
He was born Sept. 16, 1938, in Ozark, Ark., the son of Luther L. and Mildred Almond Gilbreth.
Mr. Gilbreth worked for 22 for Western Roofing. He served many years on the executive board as well as two terms as president of Roofers Local No. 20. Mr. Gilbreth also served four years and nine months in the U.S. Air Force.
He married Carol Clark on Dec. 15, 1989, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Betty Lewis and husband Joe, Lawrence; three sons; four daughters; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, “Bill” and Mildred Gilbreth.
