Dale LeRoy McKelvey 1975 - 2011 Burlington
Graveside service for Dale LeRoy McKelvey, 36, Burlington, will be at 5 p.m. Aug. 7 at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton.
Mr. McKelvey died Friday, June 10, 2011, in Burlington, due to diabetes.
He was born March 29, 1975, in Lawrence, the son of Eugene and Thelma Ewing.
He graduated from Lawrence High School.
Mr. McKelvey helped run the family business, Green Belt Lawn Maintenance, until 2003. He later worked at Dillons, Amarr Garage Doors, and Walmart, all in Lawrence. Mr. McKelvey was on disability since 2008.
He enjoyed building computers and programming, model train collecting, rebuilding cars, bowling, NASCAR and wrestling.
Survivors include a brother, Marcus and wife Lindsay, Lawrence; and a sister, Cindy Brooks and husband Mike, Berthoud, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
