Virginia B. Baker

Memorial service for Virginia B. Baker, 90, St. Louis, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Grace Episcopal Church, 514 East Argonne Drive, Kirkwood.
Mrs. Baker died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011.
She was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Memphis, Tenn., the daughter of Carey and Marie Malek Tittsworth.
Mrs. Baker was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. She was a master bridge player, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Everett “Bud” Baker and wife Toy, St. Louis; three daughters, Susan Pearson and husband Jim, St. Louis, Debra Baker and husband Jim Alldritt, Lawrence. Kan., and Patti Redel and husband John, St. Louis; eight grandchildren, Melissa Hood, Angela Baker, Connor and Chris Treanor, John and Dan Redel, Lindsey Pautler and Jimmy Pearson; and three great-grandchildren, Skyla and Casey Schwarzendruber and Myla Hood.
The family suggests memorials to St. John’s Mercy Hospice, 1000 Des Peres Road, Suite 200 B, St. Louis, MO 63131-2062.
