Ida Mae Hehn 1944 - 2011 McLouth
Services for Ida Mae Hehn, 66, McLouth, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be at McLouth Cemetery.
She died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at her home in McLouth.
She was born Dec. 16, 1944, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Joseph and Violet Virginia Dean Coleman. She was a 1958 graduate of Oskaloosa High School.
Mrs. Hehn retired from Federal Civil Service in 1998 after working at the ASCS office in Oskaloosa and at Fort Leavenworth for more than 20 years. She also had worked at Hallmark Cards in Lawrence. Mrs. Hehn was a member of the McLouth United Methodist Church and the Oskaloosa Lions Club.
She married Carl Richard Hehn on June 10, 1961, in Oskaloosa. He survives of the home.
She is also survived by two sons, Jerry Hehn and Terry Hehn, both of McLouth; two daughters, Carla Royer and husband Gary, and Janet Steinmetz and husband John, both of McLouth; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday before services at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Jefferson County Friends of Hospice, Kansas Dialysis of Lawrence or to Oskaloosa Lions Club, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, KS. 66066.
