Charles Duguid

Funeral service for Charles Duguid, 83, Winchester, will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Winchester Reformed Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery in Winchester.
Mr. Duguid died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the F.W. Huston Senior Living Center in Winchester.
He was born May 30, 1927, in Winchester, the son of Millard Thomas and Helen Fields Duguid. He graduated from Winchester High School.
Mr. Duguid was a farmer and owned a construction business, building many homes in the area. He was a member of Winchester Reformed Presbyterian Church.
He married Edith Mae Keys on April 26, 1946, in Winchester. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Philip and wife Eleanor, Meriden; four daughters, Sharon Mathews and husband Carl, Lawrence, Eileen Filbert and husband Ed, and Joan Wallace, all of Winchester, and Brenda Kuntz and husband Fred, Midlothian, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Sterret, Leroy, James, Duane and Paul; two sisters, May Trower and Louise Swenson; and a son-in-law, Mike Wallace.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls, where Mr. Duguid will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
