Virginia Kaspar Dolezal 1918 - 2011 Lawrence
Virginia Kaspar Dolezal, 93, Lawrence, passed away Dec. 21, 2011, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Wilson City Cemetery in Wilson, Kan.
She was born March 11, 1918, in Wilson, the daughter of Georgia and Emil Kaspar. She was a 1940 graduate of the Kansas University School of Pharmacy.
She married Joseph F. Dolezal in 1940. They owned and operated the Zeman Pharmacy in Wilson. After closing the pharmacy in the mid-1970s, Mrs. Dolezal was a part-time pharmacist at several pharmacies in northeast Kansas before retiring in 1999.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Dolezal and wife Linda, Topeka; a daughter, Marcia Wewers and husband David, Shawnee; three granddaughters, Megan Moran, Mandy Dolezal and Marcy Dolezal; and a former daughter-in-law, Sandra Dolezal, Sunrise Beach, Mo.
