Laura Christine Baldwin

A Mass of Christian Burial for Laura Christine Baldwin, 30, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lawrence.
She died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 17, 1981, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Steven R. Millikan and Linda Sue Franklin Millikan.
She attended schools in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School. She was a graduate in civil engineering from Kansas University in 2004. She worked for a time as a civil engineer for Burns and McDonnell. Later, she received professional engineer certification and licensing.
Mrs. Baldwin was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group in Lawrence.
She married Jacob C. Baldwin on June 24, 2006, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include sons Connor J. Baldwin and Colter B. Baldwin, of the home; her father, Steven Millikan, Olathe; her mother, Linda Harker and husband Alex, Jackson Hole, Wyo; a sister, Brandyn Ford and husband Ethan and their children, Avery, Huntley and Madelyn, Leawood; and a brother-in-law, Josh and wife Melanie and their daughter, Kyra, Overbrook.
The family will meet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
The family suggests memorials to the ITP Foundation or to LMH Endowment Association for Transfusion Rooms, sent in care of the mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
