Dale Stuber 1920 - 2011 Eureka
A remembrance service for Dale Stuber, 91, Eureka, will be from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Stuber Research Hanger at the Lawrence Municipal Airport.
Mr. Stuber died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011.
He was born March 20, 1920, in Eureka, the son of Albert and Tammy Bair Stuber.
Mr. Stuber ranched and farmed until he was 86 years old, when he retired and moved into Eureka.
He married Ella Maurine Broddle on Dec. 20, 1940. They were married more than 60 years. She preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Lyle Stuber.
Survivors include two sons, Don Stuber, of Osawatomie, and Dr. Allan Stuber and wife Dr. Gayle Stuber, of Lawrence; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his extended family.
The family suggests memorials to a local charity of the donor’s choice.
