James Dale Tyree 1958 - 2010 Eudora

Funeral services for James Tyree, 52, Eudora will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary — Eudora Chapel. Burial will follow at Shawnee Mission Gardens.
Mr. Tyree died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, in Overland Park as a result of a construction accident.
He was born on Aug. 24, 1958, in Wichita, the son of Jack and Bethel Mueller Tyree.
He graduated from Turner High School. He was a brick mason and foreman for Lindsey Masonry for more than 25 years. He enjoyed boating and bowling, and spending time with friends.
He married Theresa Simmons on June 15, 1979, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Jennifer, of the home, Trisha, Eudora, and Jackie, Lawrence; his parents, Baldwin City; one brother, Doug, Lawrence; one sister, Linda Land, Olathe; and one grandson, Jay Muse.
The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel.
The family suggests memorials to the Diabetes Association, sent in care of the mortuary’s Lawrence office, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
