Marie Katherine Trybom

Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Katherine Trybom, 89, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Trybom died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 11, 1921, in Washington County, the daughter of Leo and Katie Bichel Uhlrich.
Mrs. Trybom was a homemaker. She also worked for Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant during World War II. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Altar Society at the church.
She married Marvin Francis Trybom on Feb. 14, 1946, in Clifton. He preceded her in death Nov. 2, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Mizell and Leonilla Trybom, and two brothers, Francis and Leonard Uhlrich.
Survivors include two sons, Gene and wife Shirley, and Robert and wife Rita, all of Lawrence; four daughters, Nancy Chute and husband Bob, Casa Grande, Ariz., Judy Hauschild and husband Marvin, Lawrence, Linda Bollig and husband Joe, Baldwin City, and Angela Trybom, of the home; two brothers-in-law, Carl and Emil Jr., Lawrence; four sisters-in-law, Esther Lahodny, Concordia, June Myers, Gaylord, Gladys Simoneau, Plainview, Texas, and Betty Beydler, Spokane Valley, Wash.; 14 grandchildren, Diane, Cindy, Christine, Michelle, Bobby, Dori, Tim, Wendy, Drew, Adam, Bridget, Johnny, Anna and Thomas; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today, followed by the family receiving friends until 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
