Jane M. Musgrave

A celebration of life for Jane “Sheena” Musgrave, 58, Lawrence, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. A reception will follow the service at the Castle Tea Room.
She died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at her home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1951 in Billings, Mont., the daughter of Wayne and Alice McEneaney Musgrave. She attended Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis, Minn.
She attended Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, where she earned degrees in English literature and a master’s in school psychology. Her career spanned 31 years as a school psychologist in the Flint Hills Cooperative and in the Tonganoxie school district.
She was a member of the National Association of School Psychologists, Kansas Association of School Psychologists and Friends of the Lawrence Public Library.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Greg, and a nephew David Kendall.
Survivors include her partner, Maggie; two brothers, Phillip and wife Paula, Kansas City, Mo., and Mark, Sunnyvale, Calif.; a sister, Barbara Kendall, Kansas City, Mo.; a niece, Julie Kendall; and nephews Jason, Matt and Paul.
