Stephanie Marie Conn 1988 - 2010
Daniel Jacob Henry, 21, & Stephanie Marie Conn, 22, died Sunday, October 10, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 15th, at the First Christian Church of Bonner Springs. Friends may call from 4-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the families request memorial contributions be made to the Jacob Henry and Stephanie Conn Scholarship Funds c/o Union Bank and Trust, 309 Oak Street, Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
Stephanie was born September 8, 1988, in Ottawa, KS, and Jacob was born October 24, 1988, in Kansas City, KS. They were both 2007 graduates of Bonner Springs High School. They were seniors at the University of Kansas. Stephanie majored in psychology and was a member of the KU Concert Choir; Jake majored in sports management.
Stephanie is survived by her parents, Steve Conn and Shellie DeCock; her grandparents Evelyn Conn, Vernon Conn, and William and Linda DeCock; her aunts and uncles Vernon W. Conn, Cindy Conn and Don Seymour, Kim DeCock, and Danny DeCock. Jake was preceded in death by his grandfather John Pino. Jake is survived by his parents, Steve and Connie Henry, and brother Collin; his grandparents Betty Pino, Hazel and Don Henry; his aunts and uncles Joyce & Michael Fuentes, Jennifer McGuire Henry and Dan Henry, Frank and Liz Pino, Russ & Lee Pino; and numerous extended family and friends.
Both families would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the generosity and support which has been extended to them.
