LeOra Woodruff

Funeral services for LeOra Woodruff, 90, Overbrook, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Overbrook United Methodist Church.
She died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital.
She was born Jan. 23, 1920, near Overbrook, the daughter of Lloyd W. Sr. and Myrtle Burruss Bachelor.
She lived and worked her entire life in the Overbrook community and graduated from Overbrook Rural High School in 1938.
She had worked in Overbrook at O’Bryhims Grocery Store, First Security Bank and the Overbrook Post Office for more than 60 years.
She was preceded in death by husband Charles D. Garst of 24 years; Cecil D. Woodruff, husband of 13 years; a brother, Lloyd Bachelor Jr., in 2000; a granddaughter, Jamie Jean Kay; and grandson David K. Dillon.
Survivors include daughters Joyce C. Dillon and husband John, and Marsha A. McKee, Overbrook; son Douglas L. Garst and wife Julie, Salado, Texas; stepdaughters Carole Turner and husband Ray, Berryton, Barbara Harper and husband Rod, Overbrook, and Susie Mohr and husband Rod, Lawrence; grandsons Jeffrey E. Dillon, and Douglas B. Dillon and wife Tracey, Lawrence; great-grandchildren Austin Dillon, Cameron Dillon, Meghan Dillon and Molly Dillon; stepgrandchildren Becky Turner, Ryan Turner, Kristin Turner, Elizabeth Haire, Nolan Haire, Kathryn Mohr, Veronica Mohr and Christina Mohr; a stepgrandson; sister-in-law Betty Bachelor, Carbondale, Aunt Dorothy Jean Flory, Overbrook; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will meet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
The family suggests memorials to Overbrook American Legion Auxillary, sent in care of First Security Bank, 312 Maple, Overbrook, KS 66524.
