Rosemary Hatcher

Funeral services for Rosemary Hatcher, 86, Lawrence, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lawrence.
Mrs. Hatcher died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Windsor of Lawrence.
She was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Plainville, the daughter of Otto Theodore and Florence Lorene Burgell Thornton.
Mrs. Hatcher worked as a quality auditor at Hallmark Cards for 26 1/2 years before retiring in 1984. She formerly worked as a switchboard operator in western Kansas and at Stokely-Van Camp in Lawrence.
She married Kenneth R. Hatcher on Oct. 11, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a sister, Wanda L. Poole, Commerce City, Colo., and a brother, Johnnie Keith Thornton, Chase.
The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary in Lawrence.
