Julia L. Compton

A memorial service for Julia L. Compton, 60, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at West Side Presbyterian Church. Cremation is planned.
She died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., after an illness.
She was born June 30, 1949, in Ottawa and had lived in Lawrence since 1957.
Survivors include her mother, Madge Compton, of Lawrence; and brothers James Compton, Robert Compton and Larry Compton.
The family will meet friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at West Side Presbyterian Church.
