Lillian Marie Kerr 1923 - 2010 Parker
Goodrich — Graveside services for Lillian Marie Kerr, 86, Parker, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Goodrich Cemetery.
She died Friday, March 12, 2010, in her son’s home in Iola.
She was born July 1, 1923, in Centerville, the fifth child of Walter Glenn and Esther Pearl Price Troth.
Mrs. Kerr was a homemaker, was involved with the family farm, was a babysitter. She enjoyed her grandchildren, watching Kansas University and Kansas State University basketball games, and game shows. She was a seventh-degree Parker Grange Member and served as project leader while her children were involved in
She married Harland Kerr on July 4, 1941, in Paola. He died Dec. 4, 1996.
Mrs. Kerr was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Earl, Cecil and W.G. Troth; two sisters, Evelyn Wisbey and Alice Kerr; a son-in-law, Kenneth Dick; and a grandson, Wesley Glenn Kerr.
Survivors include four sons, Glenn Kerr and wife Linda, Parker, Charles A. Kerr and wife Deborah, Iola, James Kerr and wife Liz, Garnett, and Roger Kerr and wife Kim, Osawatomie; three daughters, Katherine Dick, Shawnee, Judy Grantham and husband Bob, Moore, Okla., and Carol Brownell and husband David, Beeville, Texas; two brothers, Kenneth Troth, Pleasanton, and Raimond Troth, Mound City; 20 grandchildren, including Kevin Kerr, Lawrence; and many great-grandchildren and other relatives.
The family will meet friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home, 203 Main St., Osawatomie.
