Brennan James Dardis

Eudora — Mass of Christian burial for Brennan James Dardis, 26, Tempe, Ariz., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora. Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Dardis died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in Phoenix.
He was born Jan. 19, 1984, in Fort Campbell, Tenn., the son of Dr. Mark and Melissa Dardis.
He graduated with honors from Brophy College Preparatory, Phoenix, in 2002. He wrote several compositions for guitar and sang lead vocals for a Phoenix band while in high school. He also played violin in the school orchestra in middle school and high school.
Mr. Dardis attended Gonzaga University and the University of Arizona and had majored in pre-medicine.
He was an Eagle Scout with Troop 14 and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, both in Phoenix. Mr. Dardis was an ardent Arizona Diamondbacks baseball fan.
Survivors include his parents and his girlfriend, Rebecca Anderson, all of Phoenix; a grandmother, Helen Dardis, Lawrence; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Laughlin and Michael Dardis.
A rosary will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends following the rosary.
