Joyce Irene Paxton

Graveside services for Joyce Irene Paxton, 77, Holiday Island, Ark., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eureka Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Stan Adams officiating.
Mrs. Paxton died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in Eureka Springs.
She was born April 23, 1932, in De Soto, Kan., the daughter of Charles and Viola Sprouse Cooper.
Mrs. Paxton was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her companion, Ray Coleman, Holiday Island; four sons, Eric Bowers, Kevin Paxton and wife Kelly, and Philip Paxton, all of Olathe, Kan., and David Bowers, Independence, Mo.; two daughters, Lisa Roche and husband Brad, Roswell, Ga., and Kathleen Bolling and husband Kevin, Lawson, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Debbie and Denise (Nesi) Coleman, both of Eureka Springs; a sister, Marge Snodgrass, Phoenix; a brother, Bud Cooper, Parsons, Kan.; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles “Chuck” Bowers; a brother, Harold Cooper; two sisters, Bess Brewster and Mildred Wilson; and a grandchild, Duane Bolling.
The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice.
