Edward Lee Bradford

A memorial Mass for Edward Lee Bradford, 79, of Tonganoxie, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Tonganoxie. Inurnment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Tonganoxie.
Mr. Bradford died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at his home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Leavenworth, the son of John E. “Pat” and Estella M. Gensler Bradford.
He was a 1948 graduate of Winchester High School.
He had lived in Tonganoxie for seven years, moving from Littleton, Colo., where he had lived for 20 years after living in Lansing for 15 years.
He had worked at Behee’s Paint Store and was co-owner of Bradford Powers Paint in Leavenworth. He also served as manager of Cook Paint in Leavenworth and Greeley, Colo., before managing Sherwin Williams in Denver, where he retired in 1995.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Tonganoxie and was a former member of the Lansing Lions Club.
He married Rosemary Sieben on Oct. 29, 1949, in Easton. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, David and wife Gail, Centennial, Colo.; two daughters, Marylee Ann Berry, McLouth, and Kimberly Bradford, Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry, in 1997.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday prior to the Mass at the church.
