Pauline G. Harvey 1923 - 2010 Lawrence
A private inurnment for Pauline G. Harvey, 86, Lawrence, will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Harvey died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community. She was a longtime resident of Lawrence.
She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Parsons, the daughter of George and Stamata Pappas.
Mrs. Harvey graduated from Parsons High School and Pittsburg State College, and spent her career as an elementary school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Herk” Harvey and their dog Rocky.
Survivors include siblings Evelyn Dowling, Edmond, Okla., Patricia Callahan, Bella Vista, Ark., and Tony Pappas, Santa Monica, Calif; three nephews; and two nieces, including Tricia Venters, Lawrence.
The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Humane Society, Salvation Army or Lawrence Community Shelter, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St.
