Maxine Hack

Mass of Christian Burial for Maxine Hack, 87, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Hack died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Harbor House Memory Care Residence.
She was born Loretta Maxine Madl in Eudora, the daughter of Edward and Ida Schoenhofer Madl. She lived in Lawrence since 1964, when she moved from Kansas City, Mo.
She graduated from Argentine High School in 1939. She was a homemaker and a librarian for Kansas University. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
She married John Hack on July 12, 1941, in Kansas City, Kan. He died July 6, 1999.
Survivors include three sons, Frederick Hack and wife Sheryl, Gladstone, Mo., David Hack and wife Suzanne, Overland Park, and Greg Hack and wife Tina Kolm, Lenexa; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
