Candice L. Baetz-Adcock

Candice L. Baetz-Adcock, 47, of Olathe, passed away Tue., Jan. 12, 2010, at the K.C. Hospice House. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Indian Creek Community Church, 12480 Blackbob Road in Olathe. Private inurnment in Olathe Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Church. Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure or the Learning Quest Scholarship Fund designated for Shelby and/or Briahna Adcock.
Candice was born April 13, 1962, in Salina, to Margaret and Robert Baetz. She graduated from Salina South High in 1980 and Baylor University in 1984. She did her internship in Dallas and later moved to Kansas City. She worked for Scott Rice and the John Marshall Company as an interior designer. She enjoyed being a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader with her daughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nine years, Jonathan Adcock, as well as her father in 2004.
She is survived by two daughters, Shelby and Briahna Adcock, of the home; two sisters, Cindy Tedlock of Lawrence, and Dr. Cherie Baetz-Davis of St. Louis; as well as her mother, Margaret Baetz of Branson, Mo. To leave a special message for the family please visit www.PenwellGabelOlathe.com.
