Maxine Banta Alldritt

Services for Maxine Banta Alldritt, 90, Harper, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Harper, with the Rev. Ed Hewlitt officiating. Burial will be at the Harper Cemetery.
Mrs. Alldritt died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, in Harper.
She was born Sept. 21, 1919, in Harper, the daughter of Leslie D. and Ethel Smith Banta.
Mrs. Alldritt was a homemaker. She was a member of the Central Christian Church-Downtown Wichita for 50 years and a member of the Harper Christian Church, after she moved back to Harper. Mrs. Alldritt was also a member of the PEO Chapter FH in Wichita and PEO Chapter BV in Harper.
She married Don Alldritt on March 4, 1914, in Wichita. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Louise Ahlf, and a son, David Alan Alldritt.
Survivors include David’s widow, Mary Kay Alldritt, Denver; six sons, Dick, Mark and wife Inga, and Mike Alldritt and wife Bonnie, all of Harper, Jim Alldritt and wife Debbie, Lawrence, Les Alldritt and wife Vickie, Washburn, Wis., and Phil Alldritt, Taos, N.M.; three daughters-in-law, Carmen Alldritt, Topeka, Linda Alldritt, Lawrence, and Alicia Broomhoff, Taos, N.M.; 15 grandchildren, Drayton, Barry, Alexandra, Emily, Adam, Katie, Robin, Owen, Miles, Hannah, Adria and Michael Alldritt, and Megan Cook, Martha Cornelson and Mary Bogdanovecz; 14 great-grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Robert, Amelia, David John, Max, Lucy, and Anna Alldritt, and Brinnon Cook, Madilyn Cornelson, Elisabeth Voss, Ava Bogdanovecz, and Gavin and Melody Antoine; two sisters-in-law, Ann McCarty and husband John, Wichita, and LuJean Jaderholm and husband Russell, Glen Ellyn, Ill.; a brother-in-law, John Alldritt and wife Evelyn, Wichita; and many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the Wichita Humane Society or the Harper Food Bank, sent in care of the funeral home, 613 W. 14th St., Harper, KS 67058.
