Bibiana Theresa Steele 1934 - 2010 Lawrence
A graveside service for Bibiana Theresa Steele, 75, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Muncie Cemetery, 1500 N. Eighth St., Lansing.
She died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 20, 1934, in Washington, Mo., the daughter of Viola Eckelkamp.
She had a career in social work and retired after many years from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka.
Survivors include a daughter, Valerie Steele and husband Michael Sela, Los Angeles; a son, Merrill F. Steele III, Lawrence; a brother, Randy Rietz and wife Patricia, Wheaton, Ill.; a grandson, Ryan Thompson; a cousin, Susan Murphy; and a son-in-law, Mick McCann.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Lisa Steele McCann.
Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St., Leavenworth.
