Mary Ellen Oneslager

Humboldt — Funeral services for Mary Ellen Oneslager, 79, Lawrence, formerly of Humboldt, will be at 1 p.m. today at the Penwell-Gabel Humboldt Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Oneslager died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.
She was born March 31, 1930, in Earlton, the daughter of Charles and Cora Beatrice Hammil Yockey.
Mrs. Oneslager retired from the Monarch Cement Plant in Humboldt, where she worked in the weigh station. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Humboldt.
She married Lewis Jackson Oneslager on April 20, 1947, in Humboldt. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Ellison, Chanute; a son, Gerald “Gary” Oneslager and wife Carol, Lawrence; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tim Yockey, Humboldt, and Richard Yockey, Rockport, Texas; and two sisters, Alice Thomas, Pittsburg, and Sally Clark, Mound Ridge.
