Jeffrey M. Clark

Memorial service for Jeffrey “Jeff” M. Clark, 50, Lawrence, will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lawrence Free Methodist Church. Burial took place in the German Protestant Cemetery in Waldoboro, Maine.
Mr. Clark was born Sept. 18, 1960, in Fort Knox, Ky., the son of 1st Lt. James and Barbara Mullen Clark.
He spent his early childhood in Germany; Fort Still, Okla.; Fort Bliss, Texas; Framingham, Mass.; Dugway, Utah; Fort Leavenworth; and DeRidder, La. In 1975, the family moved to Waldoboro, Maine, where he attended and graduated from Medomak Valley High School. He also attended the University of Maine at Farmington. He was directly involved with construction and architecture while working for the Portland Design Team in Portland, Maine. He attended the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisc., where he met his wife, Cathy Briel Clark.
They married in Friendship, Maine, in 1990 and then moved to Lawrence.
Mr. Clark owned and operated Clark Inspection Service. He was a member of NRA, the Lawrence Sertoma Club and the Board of Realtors.
Survivors include a son, Alexander, Fayetteville, Ark.; a sister, Gina Clark, Santa Monica, Calif.; his father, James Clark, Waldoboro, Maine; and former wife, Cathy Clark, Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, David.
The family suggests memorials to the National Marfan Foundation, sent in care of the mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
