Daryl G. Munck 1949 - 2010 Eudora
A memorial gathering for Daryl G. Munck, 60, Eudora, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at 1613 Acorn Lane, Eudora.
Mr. Munck died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at his home. He will be inurned in Iowa.
He was born Oct. 8, 1949, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Howard H. and Etta Mae Booth Munck.
He graduated in 1967 from Camanche High School in Iowa. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Thailand from 1968 to 1972.
He was employed by E.I. DuPont until 1982. He also worked for FMC in Lawrence and for 13 years at Kansas University as a mechanic until May 2010.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and motorcycles for 45 years.
Survivors include three sons, David and wife Kasey, Huron, S.D., Daniel, Grantville, and Jeremy, Topeka; two sisters, Roberta Munck, Fulton, Iowa, and Cheryl Putman, Meridianville, Ala.; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to Headquarters Counseling Center, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
