Patricia Ann Mardis Weisshaar 1952 - 2010 Pratt

Patricia “Trish” Ann Mardis Weisshaar

A funeral service for Patricia “Trish” Ann Mardis Weisshaar, 57, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Pratt, with the Rev. Dan Ferguson presiding. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
She died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at her home.
She was born April 22, 1952, in Pratt, the daughter of Richard Lee and Avis Jo Sipe Mardis.
She moved from Pratt to Lawrence in 1997. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and BPOE Elks Lodge No. 1451, both of Pratt. While in Pratt she worked at the Uptown Cafe and Club Dest.
She married Edward A. Weisshaar on June 9, 1999, in Lawrence. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother, of Pratt; a daughter, Kimberly Cline, Evansville, Ind.; a son, Joshua Gross, Medicine Lodge; a brother, Gordon R. Mardis, Wichita; three grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin and Rhyen Gross; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Danny L. Mardis.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Friday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt.
The family suggests memorials to Green Sports Complex, First United Methodist Church, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, KS 67124.
