Eugenie Fellows

Tampa, Fla. — Private family services for Eugenie Fellows, 95, Tampa, are planned for November in Tampa. Burial will be in Fayetteville, N.Y.
Mrs. Fellows died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, in Tampa.
She was born Dec. 20, 1913, in West Allis, Wis., the son of Emile Joseph LaPlante and Mena Amalia Hoiland.
Mrs. Fellows attended the University of Washington and the University of Wisconsin and graduated from Ohio State University. She worked as a civilian employee of the U.S. Army during World War II. She was a social worker in the 1960s and later a city planner for the rest of her career.
She was active in the League of Women Voters for many years. During her retirement, she did genealogical research. She also enjoyed gardening.
She married Erwin Wilcox Fellows in May 1946 in Madison, Wis. He died in 2001.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Ray Fellows, and a brother, Ken LaPlante.
Survivors include a daughter, Joy Lominska and husband Robert, Lawrence; six grandchildren, Chris and Avery Lominska, Byron, Baron and Brandon Fellows and Ashton Calls Him; and seven great-grandchildren.
