Amy Beth Miles 1960 - 2009 Tonganoxie
Basehor — Funeral services for Amy Beth Miles, 49, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 15410 Leavenworth Road, Basehor.
Mrs. Miles died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at her home.
She was born July 13, 1960, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of John and Wilma McGraw Harnden.
Mrs. Miles was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, where she taught catechism classes. She owned and operated a day care for 20 years and also worked for Suburban Water Co. in Basehor.
She married Bill Miles on Aug. 9, 1980, in Basehor. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Travis Miles, Basehor, and Brett Miles, of the home; a daughter, Jessica Wiehe, Tonganoxie; four brothers, John, Atchison, Bill, Tonganoxie, Michael, Tulsa, Okla., and Daniel Harnden, Overland Park; three sisters, Helen Ireland, Seymour, Mo., Christine Hill, Basehor, and Michele Harnden, St. Marys; and two granddaughters.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or to hospice, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
