Pamela J. Oswalt

No services are planned for Pamela J. “Pam” Oswalt, 59, Meriden. Cremation is planned.
Mrs. Oswalt died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka.
She was born June 22, 1950, in Wichita, the daughter of Donald William and Dorothy Crippen Hedburg Sr. She graduated from Wichita North High School and earned a degree in education from Wichita State University.
Mrs. Oswalt worked in administration for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in Topeka for 22 years. She was a member of Seaman Congregational Church in Topeka.
She married Gene Allen Oswalt on May 4, 1996, in Topeka. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Marc Fischer, Wichita; a stepson, Todd Allen Oswalt, Wahpeton, N.D.; a brother, Donald Hedburg Jr., Ozawkie; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Alan Fischer.
Friends may call from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Meriden Chapel, 101 W. Wyandotte, Meriden.
